Refund and cancellation
Last updated: 28 July 2026. This policy applies to Digital Architecture Net studios, labs, and private mentoring booked through our Tokyo studio.
Eligibility window
Full refunds are available if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled session of a studio or lab, or at least 48 hours before a private mentoring session. After those deadlines, refunds become partial or unavailable as described below.
Full refunds
You receive a full refund of fees paid when we cancel a cycle, when we cannot provide a confirmed seat, or when you cancel inside the eligibility window above and no printed materials have yet been produced for your seat.
Partial refunds
Cancellations between 13 and 7 days before a studio or lab start receive a 50% refund of tuition, less any non-refundable deposit. Mentoring cancelled between 48 and 12 hours before the appointment receives a 50% refund.
Non-refundable items
Deposits marked as non-refundable in your confirmation, printed workbooks already produced for your seat, and completed mentoring time are not refundable. Digital replay access granted after a session begins is non-refundable for that session.
Deposits
Some cycles require a deposit to hold a seat. The confirmation email states whether that deposit is credited toward tuition and whether it is refundable under the timelines above.
Work already started
Once a multi-session studio or intensive has begun, unused remaining sessions are not refunded except when we cancel the remainder. Mentoring sessions that have started are charged in full.
Purchased materials
Physical materials prepared for your enrolment (workbooks, printed case sets) remain yours if already produced; their cost is deducted from any partial refund.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a mentoring session once without fee if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Studio and lab seats may be moved to a later published cycle once, subject to availability, if requested at least 14 days before start.
No-shows
Failure to attend without notice is treated as a completed session for mentoring and as attendance for that studio evening. No refund is issued for no-shows.
How to request a refund
Email hello@digitalarchitecturenet.digital with your full name, offer booked, confirmation reference, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 business days after approval. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your institution.
Exceptions
Serious illness or bereavement documented in writing may receive discretionary accommodation outside the standard timelines. We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with trading outcomes; training is educational only.
