Why Your Daily Chart Lies Until the Weekly Agrees
A practical habit for Tokyo session traders who jump to lower frames too early.
Most multi-timeframe mistakes start with enthusiasm, not ignorance. You open the daily, see a clean break, and never check whether the weekly is still mid-range and undecided. By the time Tokyo opens, you are defending a trade that never had higher-frame permission.
Start every week with a ten-minute weekly markup: prior swing points, the active range, and one sentence on bias. Only then open the daily. If the daily story contradicts the weekly sentence, you do not invent a clever exception—you wait.
This habit feels slow for two weeks. After that, fewer trades survive the filter, and the ones that do tend to have room to breathe when the hourly gets noisy.
