Tagging Timeframes in Your Trade Journal

If every journal entry says “followed the plan,” you will not improve. Add three tags: permission frame, location frame, and trigger frame. After twenty trades you will see which frame you consistently skip.

Many students discover they never record a permission frame at all—they jump from a vague daily idea to an hourly trigger. That gap is where multi-timeframe training earns its keep.

Keep tags short. The goal is pattern recognition across your own history, not a second full write-up.
